Medical progress, especially in imaging technologies, has lead to a better understanding and diagnosis of back problems. As a result, innovative and minimally invasive operating techniques and procedures are being developed but broad based adoption by the medical profession is still lagging behind. Endoscopic and microsurgical techniques, which avoid destabilising the spine and also make fusion the operation of last resort when there is no other viable alternative, are possible now.
I have been working for many years to refine my own treatment of spinal diseases so that I can very often suggest treatment options in difficult cases when others say, “You have to live with the pain as best you can.”
I invite you now to explore my website and learn about my neurosurgical treatment options in several fields and especially in the field of spinal diseases.
How can you get in touch with me?
The best option, of course, is a personal consultation and examination. I offer this in my practice in Munich right in the city centre throughout the year. If you wish to take advantage of this, you can call my practice and make an appointment. Contact. I make the most possible use of MRI and CT scans in my diagnosis, so if you do not have a recent (no more than 3 months old) MRI or CT scan I can arrange for this to be done with the latest high resolution state-of-the-art equipment in Munich on the day of your appointment.
If you are unable to visit Munich for a personal consultation then I can offer you two further options:
1) Remote Diagnosis.
This is the fastest way to get in touch with me and get some answers to your back problem. If you already have a recent (no more than 3 months old) MRI or CT scan then, I offer a free of charge online consultation by email which involves the completion of a simple questionnaire and sending the pictures to my international representative, Jon Wilkie, or to my practice direct via electronic mail or by post. I will then reply, usually in less than a week with a preliminary report including diagnosis, treatment options and an estimate of the cost of any operation, which I recommend.
2) Foreign Consultation Days.
The second option is to make an appointment to come to one of my consultation days in the UK in Central London and in The Netherlands at Noordwijk aan Zee. I also offer consultation and treatment in Spain. The dates of each visit are published on the website under “Current News”. Jon Wilkie manages my appointments and will be pleased to give you further information. His contact details can be found below under “Team”.
